JL Web Design is an independent web design and development studio founded and led by Juan. We work with businesses that want a website they're proud of, and results they can actually measure.
Our story
Why JL Web exists.
JL Web Design started with a simple frustration: too many businesses were paying good money for websites that looked generic, loaded slowly and never showed up in search.
We wanted to do it differently. Hand-crafted design instead of templates. Clean, fast code instead of bloated page builders. Search and performance built into the foundations instead of bolted on at the end. And one person accountable from the first call to launch day and beyond.
Today we design, build and grow websites for restaurants, medical practices, agencies and local businesses across the United States, working in English and Spanish.

We design every screen and write every line of code for your business specifically. It takes longer than dropping content into a theme. It's also the reason our sites don't look like everyone else's.

A slow website wastes your visitors' time and your marketing budget. We treat performance as a design requirement, not an afterthought, and we measure it before launch.

You get a clear scope and a fixed price before we start. If something changes along the way, we talk about it before it costs you anything.

Launch day is the beginning, not the end. We stay available for updates, improvements and the occasional “can you quickly change this?” because that's what a real partner does.
How we work with you
Clear, calm and collaborative.
Most of our work happens over video calls, email and a shared project board where you can see progress at any time. You'll never wonder what's happening with your project.
We ask a lot of questions at the start, show work early and often, and explain decisions in plain language. You don't need to speak “web” to work with us. That's our job.
When the site launches, you get a walkthrough of how to update it, and a direct line to us for anything you need afterwards.
