1. Who we are

This website, jl-webdesign.com (the “Site”), is operated by JL Web LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as JL Web Design (“JL Web”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at juan@jl-webdesign.com or +1 307 533 3085.

By using the Site you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

2. Using the Site

You may browse the Site and use the contact form to get in touch with us about your project. You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to gain unauthorized access, scraping or copying it at scale, sending spam or malicious content through our forms, or interfering with its operation.

3. Our content and trademarks

The design, code, text, graphics, logos and other content on the Site belong to JL Web or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from the Site without our written consent, other than viewing it for your personal or business use.

Client names, logos, screenshots and websites shown in our portfolio belong to the respective clients and are displayed to illustrate work we have done. They are not endorsements and remain the property of their owners.

4. Links to other websites

The Site links to websites we've built for clients and to third-party resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own discretion.

5. Services, quotes and engagements

Information on the Site about our services, process and timelines is general and provided for guidance. It is not an offer or a guarantee. Every project is scoped individually, and the work we do for you is governed by a separate written proposal or service agreement that we sign together. If anything in that agreement conflicts with these Terms, the agreement controls for that project.

Quotes are valid for the period stated in the quote. Timelines are estimates based on the scope at the time and depend on timely feedback, content and approvals from you.

6. Payments

Invoices are payable by the due date shown on the invoice using the payment methods listed on it. Electronic payments such as bank transfers (ACH) and card payments can take several business days to settle, and your bank or card issuer may return or reverse a payment; if that happens, the amount remains due. If you enroll in recurring or automatic payments for a care plan, that enrollment may be cancelled automatically after repeated failed payments, and you'll need to re-enroll. Unless your service agreement says otherwise, fees for completed work are non-refundable.

7. No guarantees of results

We work hard to build websites that perform well and to improve search visibility and marketing results. However, search engine rankings, traffic, leads and revenue depend on many factors outside anyone's control, including search engine algorithms, competition and your market. We therefore can't and don't guarantee any particular ranking, traffic level or business outcome.

8. Disclaimer

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and we don't warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JL Web and its members, managers and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred US dollars (US $100). Liability relating to services we perform for you is addressed in your service agreement.

10. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold JL Web harmless from claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to the Site that can't be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing any claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page tells you when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
